    Q: What is it?

    Teevly is a TV viewing app, for Windows 8, 8.1 and RT operating systems. It serves as your personal DVR, recording your favorite TV shows in the cloud. It plays back your shows in high definition (HD) without relying on a live streaming connection. It is a subscription based service.


    Q: How does it work?

    Teevly creates a virtual personalized DVR storage system in the cloud for each user. You pick the shows you want, single episodes or entire series, and they will record to your cloud DVR. As soon as there is a data connection, Teevly automatically downloads shows onto your device. Users can then watch their episodes in HD resolution—anywhere, anytime—without the need for an internet connection to stream them live. Once you are done watching, you can keep them on your device to watch again, or delete them. Once deleted, they will still be accessible on your cloud VCR, saving precious storage space on your mobile device.

    Q: Where can I get this app?

    Teevly is available in the Windows Store at ________. This is a free app to install and new users receive a free 14-day trial subscription.


    Q: What shows are available?

    Primetime TV shows are available on the Teevly app. All the shows are listed alphabetically in the TV GUIDE section of the app. We are always adding new shows, so check back often.


    Q: What devices can it operate on? What about watching it on my television set?

    Teevly will be available for any and all devices running Windows 8, 8.1 or RT. This includes tablets, ultrabooks, laptops and desktop computers. If you wanted to watch TV shows from your Teevly app on your television screen, you can purchase an adapter that allows you to seamlessly cast Teevly wirelessly onto your TV (http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/p/wireless-display-adapter).


    Q: What is the playback resolution? Is it the same on all devices?

    Teevly shows are recorded in HD and are displayed full screen at the playback resolution of that particular device.


    Q: What is the pricing?

    This is a free app to install and you can continue to use it in this “free mode” with limited number of TV shows. New users receive a free trial 14-day subscription. After this period, users may subscribe at the following levels:

    • $6.99 for 1 month
    • $12.99 for 3 months
    • $39.99 for 1 year


    Q: How soon can I watch my show after I select it to record?

    Your show must first record to your cloud DVR. This will take some time depending on the requested show. Once it’s recorded onto your DVR, Teevly will then download it to your device for watching. The time to download on your device is dependent on your internet connection.


    Q: How do I choose the directory where the shows get downloaded on my device?

    Due to a constraint placed on Modern UI apps, the download folder options are restricted to the \Users folder. To provide Teevly customers with a solution to this problem, there is a workaround that Teevly provides. You can move your Users\Videos folder to any location on your computer and Teevly will download into that folder wherever it lies.

    To set this up:

    1. Open a File Explorer on Windows Desktop
    2. Go to your Users folder and right-click on the Videos folder. One of the tabs will say LOCATION. Click or tap this tab.
    3. Choose the MOVE command and find a location on your computer drive or server that you wish to relocate this folder to.
    4. Press OK. Your done and Teevly will now download episodes to that location.

    Q: How much storage space does it take to keep these shows on my device?

    The size of each TV episode stored on a device can range from 77Mb to 540Mb.


    Q: Why am I experiencing crashes and freezes after I install the app?

    When we first launched the app, some users were experiencing issues, which we have immediately addressed with our revised versions and Be sure that you are using the latest version of Teevly, as this may address your concerns. The app should periodically update itself, but you can always go to the Windows Store and click Update (if it appears on the upper right of the Teevly Store listing) to ensure that you are operating the latest version.     Q: What is DroidTV? And what is the relationship between Teevly and DroidTV?

    Teevly is the Windows version of the existing, wildly popular DroidTV app, for the Android market, which already has almost a million users. Zero Mass Energy has a partnership with the developers of DroidTV and worked closely with them in creating our Teevly app.


This privacy policy governs your use of the software application WinTV (“Application”) for mobile devices that was created by Zero Mass Energy, LLC. The Application is WinTV allows users to privately schedule, record and download videos to customer devices. What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?
User Provided Information 
The Application obtains the information you provide when you download and register the Application. Registration with us is optional. However, please keep in mind that you may not be able to use some of the features offered by the Application unless you register with us.
When you register with us and use the Application, you generally provide (a) your email address, and password and other registration information; (b) transaction-related information, such as when you make purchases, respond to any offers, or download or use applications from us; (c) information you provide us when you contact us for help; (d) credit card information for purchase and use of the Application, and; (e) information you enter into our system when using the Application, such as contact information and project management information.
We may also use the information you provided us to contact your from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions.
Automatically Collected Information 
In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Application.
Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?
This Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.
Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help us improve the Application and our service. We will share your information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.
We may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
with our trusted services providers who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
if Zero Mass Energy, LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of this information, as well as any choices you may have regarding this information.
What are my opt-out rights?
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network. You can also request to opt-out via email, at support@wintv.us.
Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information
We will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. We will retain Automatically Collected information for up to 24 months and thereafter may store it in aggregate. If you’d like us to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact us at support@wintv.usand we will respond in a reasonable time. Please note that some or all of the User Provided Data may be required in order for the Application to function properly.
We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at support@wintv.us. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.
We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Application. Please be aware that, although we endeavor provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy at http://wintvprivacy.strikingly.com/ and informing you via email or text message. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
Your Consent
By using the Application, you are consenting to our processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. "Processing,” means using cookies on a computer/hand held device or using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information, all of which activities will take place in the United States. If you reside outside the United States your information will be transferred, processed and stored there under United States privacy standards.
